Whipcord Arborvitae
General Information
Whipcord Arborvitae is an evergreen shrub. It has a rounded overall form, with great visual appeal. This shrub will nice arching branches to create a nice form. The foliage is nice, long and arching in form. The needles will be a nice green in the spring through fall. It will take on bronze tones in the winter months. The Whipcord Arborvitae will be a great choice for a low hedge or in a variety of other landscaping spaces. This will be a slower growing overall evergreen shrub.
Additional Information
Thuja plicata ‘Whipcord’ will be 4 to 5 feet tall, with a similar overall width. It is recommended for USDA climate 5 to 7. Whipcord Arborvitae can grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
