Endless Summer Hydrangea
General Information
Endless Summer Hydrangea is an ornamental flowering shrub. It is moderate in size, reaching 5 feet tall. This shrub will have a generally rounded shape, with flowers held above the foliage. The Endless Summer Hydrangea is a great choice for partially shaded areas of your landscape. The leaves are larger and oval in shape, dark green in color. They can take on a bronze tint in the fall. The flower clusters bloom in abundance from early summer into the early fall. They are quite large, reaching 8 inches in diameter. The flowers are affected by soil ph, pink in alkaline soils, blue in acidic.
Additional Information
Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Bailmer’ will be 3 to 5 feet tall, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Endless Summer Hydrangea will grow well in partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
