Dwarf Purple Bloomerang Lilac
General Information
Dwarf Purple Bloomerang Lilac is a deciduous shrub. It is smaller in size than most Lilacs, at up to 3 feet tall. The smaller size and great ornamental appeal make this shrub perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. Small, densely growing deep green foliage gives the plant a nice appearance throughout the growing season. Abundant, fragrant flowers in the springtime. This lilac will bloom again in the summer and fall. The flowers are a very attractive pinkish-purple color.
Additional Information
Syringa x ‘SMNJRPU’ reaches a height of 30 to 36 inches, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 7. Dwarf Purple Bloomerang Lilac tends to do best in full sunlight conditions. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
