Crimson Pirate Daylily
General Information
Crimson Pirate Daylily is an ornamental perennial plant. It can grow to be taller in size, at 30 inches tall. The plant forms as a clump of foliage, with flowers held on upright stems above. The ornamental appeal make this plant ideal for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage is long and arching, deep green in color, and keeps a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers bloom in abundance, beginning mid-summer. The petals are long and narrow in form. They are deep red in color, with yellow highlights and a bright yellow throat. Very attractive, low maintenance plant!
Additional Information
Hemerocallis ‘Crimson Pirate’ grows 26 to 30 inches tall and 15 to 18 inches wide. It is recommended for USDA planting zones 3 to 9. Crimson Pirate Daylily can grow well in full to partial sunlight. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
