Firelight Tidbit Hydrangea
General Information
Firelight Tidbit Hydrangea is a great deciduous shrub. It has a great deal of ornamental appeal, making it perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. This hydrangea keeps the large flowers of the original Firelight, but has a more compact growth habit. It has nice, deep green foliage, giving the plant a great appearance all the growing season. The flower cluster bloom in great abundance, beginning mid-summer. They emerge white, tinted lime-green, before transitioning to deep pink in color.
Additional Information
Hydrangea paniculata ‘SMNHPK’ grows to a height of 2 to 3 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. Firelight Tidbit Hydrangea can be planted in full to partial sunlight. In warmer areas it should be protected from the afternoon sun. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
